Our Story

Hello there! 

My name is Bonnie Cobado.  I am the owner and operator of Bonnie's Bees. I was raised on a beef and horse farm in Northeastern, Ohio where I gained a passion for the ways of nature. As a young adult I enlisted in the Army, and I am proud to have served our glorious country.  In 2016, I started beekeeping as I have always had an interest on how honey is the only natural edible product which has all the ingredients needed to stay alive. Since starting beekeeping, I have had the opportunity to work with and gain the knowledge of three individuals with over 150 years of combined experience. My bees are children and are treated as if they pull up a chair at the evening dinner table. I absolutely love what I do, and I couldn't imagine anything else I would rather do!
